Writing
In my writing, I explore foundational concepts and historical perspectives on AI, including the distinctions between AI, machine learning, and algorithms, as well as the development of Large Language Models (LLMs). I delve into the ethical implications of AI, addressing topics like AI bias, the human cost of technology without wisdom, the risks associated with AI, and how we define intelligence and consciousness in machines versus humans. Data’s Journey: «The Story Behind AI Datasets» – Humane Intelligence Blog
In my article; «Data’s Journey: «The Story Behind AI Datasets», I explore the crucial role of data in shaping artificial intelligence (AI) systems, emphasizing how datasets and benchmarks reflect the worldviews, biases, and power dynamics of their creators. I discuss the evolution of AI from rule-based approaches to statistical methods, which now rely on vast amounts of data for machine learning. Key examples, such as the Enron corpus and ImageNet, highlight the ethical concerns around data extraction, bias, and the exploitation of underpaid labor.
